Problem
The world is ever changing. There are many untold stories of natural wonders and extraordinary people including indigenous groups and unique eco-systems around the planet that many of us have limited knowledge or awareness about. Leveraging the power of map-based storytelling, there is an opportunity to enable online audiences worldwide to explore the planet through rich, entertaining, educational experiences on Google Earth's Voyager platform.
Approach
For years people have been creating and sharing map-based stories with Google Earth - that’s why Google Earth is putting storytelling front and centre. Voyager is a showcase of interactive partner stories, told with the Earth map. Love Frankie is working with Google Earth and partner organisations across Southeast Asia to create compelling stories to shine light on incredible human and environmental struggles and triumphs. Love Frankie leads on the creative design process, working with partner organisations to create interactive digital stories that are educational, encourage curiosity about the planet and make creative use of the map and its features to ensure a dynamic map experience.
